The purpose of this Congress of Civil Engineers of Ecuador is to bring together professionals, academics, and students in the field to share the latest advances, research, and developments in the various branches of civil engineering. This meeting seeks to foster the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, as well as promote collaboration and networking among participants. It will be held at the Hotel Trip by Wyndham (Formerly Hotel Sonesta) located in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The congress invites research papers in both Spanish and English.

Call for Papers

All research papers that adhere to one or more of the thematic areas listed on this website are welcome from professionals, academics, and students.

Research papers (scientific articles and/or state of the art) on all congress topics must be prepared according to the following guidelines.

Papers that do not comply with the above guidelines may be rejected without review.

Evaluación

Each contribution will be reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee. The acceptance decision will consider novelty, technical depth, elegance, practical or theoretical impact, and presentation:

  • Soundness: Articles must be supported by the rigorous application of appropriate research methods.
  • Relevance: Authors are expected to argue the relevance and usefulness of their research and discuss novelty through comparison with related works.
  • Novelty: Contributions must be original and explained clearly and correctly with respect to the state of the art.
  • Replicability: Contributions will consider the extent to which sufficient information is available to support full or partial independent replication of the findings.
  • Presentation Quality: Contributions are expected to meet high standards of presentation, including English language, avoiding ambiguities, clearly legible figures and tables, and adherence to formatting instructions.

  • Presentations will last up to 20 minutes and may be accompanied by a slideshow.
  • The presentation can be given in either Spanish or English.
